Mannnnn, must be nice, I’ve got the exact same car, but with 198,000KM’s!!!!! I’d like to put some $$ into it but can’t justify it because I don’t know how much longer it’ll last. Sounds like you’re on the road to one nice Civic. Forget the little things and just order up a JR supercharger, seems to me the best way to go!! Will be going to Westminster Ca. to have a JR supercharger installed. They say one day, it’ll probably be two. 1) Is there an accessory store around there that stocks seats, Coebeau, Ricaros etc? 2) What’s to do without a car? Public trans to LA art museums? Sorry no interest in Disney. Thanks

It felt quicker to me too. But timing runs done before an after show no measurable increase in performance. It’s all an illusion from the nice induction and exhaust sounds.

We recently built up an ‘88 CRX Si magazine project car, which is pretty similar to your car. All of the engine mods were dynoed. I don’t have the exact numbers here with me, but the header/exhaust probably made the biggest improvement next to the supercharger. For the money, the new fuel filter ($12) also helped. The open-element air filter didn’t do a whole lot, although it did make the car sound pretty cool. David S. The car feels quicker but I’m not sure if it really is. What I wanted to know is what mod should I be looking to do next? I’ve been looking into headers and ignition systems but I’m not sure if I’ll get a noticiable improvement with these. Thanks. Bipen Gaur.
