GM Truck Fuel Tank Consumer Certificate Question

Question:

If the certificate was issued to you or an immediate family member,  yes.  I did the same thing, speced one out, dickered on price, and then when we settled on price I stated I had a 1,000 (actually 2  - 1,000 certificates) certificate and they said OK.  I tried to use both against the truck but no can do.  If you obtained the certificate from a third party then I believe that it is only good for  500 and 15 months.
