Do you mean doing bodywork or receiving it? I am a massage therapist and I would say that receiving bodywork is an incredible tool to fight stress and depression. However, on the giving end, I would not say that it’s very stress reducing. :-)

Response:

I’m interested in doing bodywork as a way to combat stress and to deal with some mild depression I’ve been going through lately. Several people I know who are close to me have done this, with some positive results. I’m still not sure exactly what it is, but I have done shiatsu and it seems a little similar. Any suggestions and comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Wes Schyngera
