Maybe, but the keyword was ‘look’. In my opinion, a tire looks wider when it’s on a not so wide rim. It bulges out from the rim and looks massive in relationship with that rim. Take a look at the Toyota Tacoma TRD. The tires look huge on those rims, even if they aren’t really that big.

Greetings Gents. I just bought a 2003 chevy s-10 blazer two door 2wd. The stock rim is I beleive a 15×8 maybe even 15×7?? With some minor well cutting and changes I was able to fit in a 31×10.5r15 tire. The tire looks great, but I was surpised that it does not look as wide as I would have thought for that size tire. How much wider will that same tire look on a 15×10 rim? Or does rim really not affect. Anybody got wide rims on newer blazer? Can you recommend any nice dish like rims with a negative offset for the blazer? Many thanks! Jason
