Lift System for a 03' Chevy Silverado 2wd

Question:

What are the pro’s and con’s of gettin a lift(about 6"), for example gas mileage and so on?

The extra air under your truck is only part of it. The larger tires that I assume you will be getting to go with your lift kit will destroy your mpg. My 2000 Z71 went from 16mpg average to 9mpg with 6 in lift and 35in tires.
